STNG – nmea0183 adapter cable 1 m

Raymarine STNG to NMEA 0183 adapter cable is designed for extracting coordinates from the STNG to SeaTalk1 converter for an older VHF radio with an NMEA 0183 interface only. The Raymarine STNG SPUR cable is a drop cable used to connect devices (blue/black) to the backbone cable, which, as the name suggests, is the “backbone” cable. The backbone cable runs through the boat from the beginning to the end of the STNG network, and it is sensible to build the network using cables of various lengths so that it is possible to make breaks and add T-pieces or 5-way connectors where different STNG instruments need to be added. The backbone is the main cable of the STNG network, and to start, extend or terminate the network, STNG terminators, connectors and a 12V power supply must be added. STNG blue and white cables cannot be connected incorrectly; in addition to colour coding, STNG cables also have a different pin configuration. Before using the product, familiarise yourself with the operating principle of the STNG (NMEA 2000) network. NB! The blue and white locking collars of the STNG connector sockets should only be turned a quarter of a turn. Corresponding markings are indicated on the product.
